About

I trained as a journalist, and I still work like one. I listen first. I ask the next question. I try to understand what a person or a place actually needs before I build anything for it.

That habit has carried me through some very different rooms: a Lululemon store during the company's first big growth years, a yoga studio I opened and ran in Bozeman for seven years, an oncology infusion center where I coordinated care for patients over months of treatment, and a summer solstice retreat I created that has sold out every year since 2021.

The through-line is community. Not as a marketing word, but as the practical work of getting the right people in a room, designing something worth their time, and taking care of every detail so they can relax into it. I'm looking for a programs or community leadership role where that work is the whole job.

What I do

Design programs people return to

Retreats, workshops, curricula, and class schedules. I start with the experience I want someone to have and work backward to the logistics.

Build community and partnerships

Ambassadors, teachers, local businesses, elders, volunteers. I'm good at finding the people who care and giving them a real role.

Tell the story and run the operation

Writing, brand voice, and communications on one side; budgets, registration, vendors, and scheduling on the other. I've owned both for two decades.

Mountain Collective Bozeman

Founder & Program Director

I created the Spirit of Nature Summer Solstice Retreat and have led it every year since. It has sold out all five years, mostly through people who came once and brought someone with them the next time.

I hold the whole arc: the concept and curriculum, the co-facilitators and venues, the partnerships, the writing and communications, registration and budget, and how it feels to be there from the first circle to the last.

2022 – 2026

Bozeman Health Cancer Center

Patient Care Technician

I chose frontline work in oncology on purpose. I coordinated infusion scheduling and patient flow across nursing, providers, and pharmacy while volume grew more than 30%, and I was a steady, familiar presence for patients and families over months of treatment.

It taught me more about care, coordination, and staying calm than any job before it.

2014 – 2021

Mountain Yoga Studio

Owner & Teacher

I opened and ran an independent studio in Bozeman for seven years: classes and workshops, hiring and mentoring teachers, brand and marketing, partnerships with local businesses and practitioners, budget, and the daily work of keeping the doors open.

What I'm proudest of is the community. Members showed up for each other. I guided the studio through the pandemic and closed it by choice in 2021 to start Mountain Collective.

2005 – 2012

Lululemon & Yoga Soup

Regional Marketing Director · Marketing Manager

At Lululemon in Santa Barbara, during the years around the company's IPO, I built community relations through grassroots partnerships, ambassador programs, and community yoga events that turned each store into a gathering place.

At Yoga Soup, I led marketing and business strategy through a stretch where the studio tripled its profit and client base, opened a second location, and grew its teacher roster by half. The events, workshops, and partnerships I created were the engine behind that.

2012 – 2013 · Montana

The Ride Home

Producer and director. A film and web series with the Cheyenne Elders Council and the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, following Global Grandmother Margaret Behan and a small group of riders on a 1,400-mile horseback journey retracing the Northern Cheyenne Exodus of 1878, from El Reno, Oklahoma to the 11th gathering of the Grandmothers in Lame Deer, Montana.
